A magnificent 19th century French ormolu-mounted Kingwood and Vernis Martin style bombé commode, surrounded with marvelous foliate ormolu fittings, with a molded serpentine-fronted brêche d'alep marble top above one drawer painted with three putti playing with roses. The drawer is above two doors panels painted with nice court scenes, the interior fitted with one shelf, the angles mounted with female terms countess finely chiseled, on splayed legs with foliate sabots.
