A Louis XIV ormolu-mounted, cut-brass-inlaid, red tortoiseshell and Boulle marquetry commode after the model of the early 18th century decorated overall with panels of scrolls and figures, the rectangular inlaid top with moulded eared edge, above eight graduated long drawers centered by an inlaid parts, with conforming sides and volute angles, on foliate ormolu cast sabots.
