A French Napoleon III and Boulle style serpentine shape gilt-ormolu, ebonised, inlaid red tortoiseshell and cut brass side cabinet after the model of the late 19th century, Inlaid overall with foliate strapwork with a moulded veined marble top above a frieze drawer and cupboard door enclosing one shelf, engraved ormolu bands, the angles, front, sides ornamented by foliate ormolu mounts and cartouches.
